DIY Faux Leather Purse Pouch
Monday, April 21, 2014Isn't it the worst when you can't find things in your purse but you know it's there... somewhere. This happens to me all the time specially with cute oversize purses & now that I carry my camera bag, I have to transfer all of my things from one bag to another. So I decided to make myself a little purse pouch where I can put all of my little necessities and know where they are at all times.
To make this you will need:
1/4 fabric of faux leather
1/4 fabric of your choice (I picked a floral cotton fabric)
Thread & Needle or a sewing machine.
1. Cut both fabrics into large rectangles of the same size & fold down the middle (Inside-out).
2. Then with the fabric inside-out sew both outer edges.
3. With the faux leather fabric still inside out turn over the other fabric and cover the pouch.
4. Now fold both fabric edges in and pin all around the pouch.
5. And sew all around.
And there you have it! You can also make a smaller version of this for just sunglasses. ;) Happy Monday.
Why yes, it is super frustrating when you can't find something in your bottomless purse, but know that its there. However, this is a SUPER cute solution! Excited to try it!
