Hey Everyone!
My name is Elle from the blog E&Elle!
Are you digging the geometric trend as much as we are?
Try making this simple prism necklace!
With Christmas just around the corner the holiday madness is in full swing! I’ve already found myself starting to get a little holiday shopping started….but, picking a present for everyone in your life is A LOT of pressure!
Am I right?
This necklace would be the perfect little gift for friends & family
Supplies Needed:
Gold Chain (I used a 36” chain)
Gold Bugle Glass Beads
Gold Jump Rings
Needle & Thread
Scissors
Needle Nose Pliers
Creating The Prism
This is the trickiest part. I used [this] tutorial on how to create the prism and it worked perfectly!
Step 1:
Leaving a tail of string about 3” long, string three beads. (To help keep the beads in place, put some tape at the end of your string....those beads sometimes just don't want to stay!)
Step 2:
Loop your string back through the first bead to create a triangle.
Step 3:
String an additional two beads.
Step 4:
Loop your string back through the triangle bead.
Step 5:
Repeat step 3 & 4.
Step 6:
String 1 bead & attach to the first bead! This will give you your first triangle.
Repeat using Steps 3-6 to complete the prism!
Tie off your prism with a few knots.
Using a jump ring, attach your prism to your chain.
That is it!
This project is so simple and only took me about 10 minutes to complete! I wear this necklace daily. It can be worn alone with a simple white t-shirt, or paired with a few dainty gold necklaces for a layered look.
Enjoy!
