Fashion. What's the point of it? This month I started really asking myself, why do I like fashion? And after thinking about this for a while I came to the conclusion that there is something about the human soul to want to express ourselves. Clothes are a way for us to say something without speaking. I love that concept.

Another reason was that I want my husband to be attracted to me daily. He knows I can't dress up every single day but I know he appreciates when I dress up for a date night, or to hang out with our friends or even to just go to church together. There is something special about the way he looks at me when I am putting my make-up on, or the way he whispers "you look so beautiful tonight" in a crowded room that me alts my heart. The thing is that I know he thinks I'm beautiful everyday, but there is something special about him admiring what I wear. I want to keep attracting him for the rest of our lives.

And thirdly it makes me feel beautiful. Having an outfit on that I feel good in just makes me feel unique and pretty and I love that. :)

    Such a little magical piece... In an industry that can carry different shades of darkness, it is such a delight to see light being reproduced. His sovereign grace is reflected through both your blog and yourself. I love how you are using all the gifts handed to you to reach women. You are firm in your faith, fashionable, simple, a wife & an incredibly talented artist/singer. Your blog is a novelty. Fashion is your medium & that's why you love it so much. I pray you continue to grow and reach women nationally and globally. Such an inspiration. (sorry for the book)

    These are beautiful shots. Do you mind if I ask for your lens recommendation for portrait photography like this?

      Thanks Kelly. Right now I'm using a Canon 50mm lens. This is a great lens for portrait photography and it's pretty inexpensive. I shoot most of my photos with this lens and I've loved it so far. It gives great depth of field. Hope it helps ;)
