I'd been asking my husband to go to the beach with me for the past three months. Sadly our summer schedule had been extremely busy and any day that we both miraculously had off, it rained. It rained a LOT in Miami this summer. So now that is fall it is the perfect time to go to the beach. So we packed our bags and headed north, where the beaches are a lot less crowded and the waters are blue. To our surprise there was literally not one person at the beach. It was sunny and very very windy but oh so peaceful. We ate lunch at a little shack near the beach with the best view and then headed down to taste the beauty for ourselves. I love that he loves to be behind the camera because as I edit these, I see how he really captured my love for the sea. We were both at peace enjoying the beauty of God's creation. It was just a beautiful day.
Lovely photos! Your husband has a good eye. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's my favorite time of year for beach camping! When I was a kid, my family would hit the beach for an entire weekend in the beginning of fall, as soon as the crowds thinned out. I think it's a tradition my husband and I will have to resume!
That is such a great tradition. And perfect time to go camping at the beach for sure. :)
DeleteThese photos are so beautiful! x

Thank you :)
DeleteI've been asking my husband to take me to the beach all summer but we have been so busy as well. Thankfully, when we got to California in two weeks, we are staying a night right off of Santa Monica. The beach is really my happy place. These photos are gorgeous and how lucky were you two to get the beach all to yourselves?!

Deletebeautiful, you guys were lucky to have the beach all to yourselves :) We didn't go to the beach much this summer either, mainly because our summer was pretty cool and there weren't that many beach worthy days. maybe next year!
